Mormons are followers of the oldest form of the Latter Day Saint faith and is the colloquial term for all Latter Day Saints for heathens. They were nearly extinct prior to 'The Event', the vast majority of LDS members being identical to the Bickertonite faith (now heresy). The Mormons made a resurgence after 'The Event' as the massive loss of life and political upheval necessitated polygamy and isolation to preserve their numbers and way of life. They reject the idea of the Trinity, believing instead that Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are seperate and that Heavenly Father and Christ have physical bodies as all LDS faiths do and are identical to the Bickertonites save their practice of polygamy and less importnace placed on converting the Gentile.
History
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was restored in April 6, 1830. Immediately following its organization, the prophet and his followers were violently persecuted and in some places slaughtered. The 'Mormon' faith came into being when polygamy was introduced into the church in 1852 in order to keep the now widowed wives supported and the church from disappearing. In 1890, when polygamy was formally abolished by Prophet Woodrow Wilson, the Mormon faith became a heresy and quickly faded into obscurity as the new Bickertonite faith became dominant.
